Alma Bulbul - Creative Director & Founder

Alma’s inspiration comes from her extensive travels, experiences and relationships she has established around the world. She was born in Bosnia and grew up in the small city of Sarajevo, then moved to Portland, OR in January of 2000, where she embraced her entrepreneurial spirit, founding Design House Twenty Three. She studied Marketing at Portland State University, but soon realized her true passion was not in marketing, but rather interior design. She went on to complete the Master’s program in Interior Design.

Alma’s ultimate goal when it comes to interior design is to have a positive impact on her clients. With an eye for quality, a superior sense of style, and a client-centered approach to business, she has proven herself as an innovative and passionate designer. She offers a balance of creativity, collaboration and forward thinking with a structured, organized and detailed approach to each individual’s vision.

She continues to work on both residential and commercial projects worldwide and assists her clients in creating unique and timeless spaces. Alma balances colors, textures, and lighting to create a space that reflects her clients’ personalities and suits their design needs. Working in collaboration with architects and builders to execute her vision, she embraces each project with an intimate approach.
